♦Think-Feel-Discover: Firstly, a huge congratulations on winning at Athens Exclusive Designers Week 2019! What award did you win? 

Thank you very much. I won the first place award, “Best New Designer”. Firstly, I wanted to participate in AXDW because I wanted to show my work to a bigger group of people. Secondly, I wanted to take the risk and get a new experience.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: How did it feel when your name was read out during the show? 

Happily stressed, because it was the first time doing something like this.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which university did you attend, and what course did you study? 

Alexander College, UWE Bristol. Fashion course.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Tell us about your story. What lead you to fashion and choosing that course? 

Before going to university, I graduated from a Technique School in Larnaca, Cyprus, on the fashion course as well. However, I realized that I belong to the Fashion World. I was the first student of a Technique School who has chosen to continue studying on the fashion course. That was a real challenge for me, and I’m grateful to my teachers.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What is the most valuable thing that you learned there?

There are so many things coming in my head, but I can say the new techniques and different kinds of it learned is the most valuable thing I learned.

♦Think-Feel-Discover:

What themes do you explore with your final year project? And what do they mean to you?

The theme I had on my final year project was tailoring. It’s more about techniques. Moreover, I studied the way and the characteristics of well-finished garments.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Talk us through your final project presented at AXDW. How did that come about?

The collection I presented at AXDW was all about a powerful, dynamic, independent woman, and man. Above all, I wanted to create a wearable collection, stylish, and comfort.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What sort of work did you undertake, and how did you decide to work this way?

My first idea was to work with a powerful androgynous style. It was a decision to study the art of tailoring at Alexander College.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What messages do you explore through your design project?

Firstly, the most important message I got from this project was to face and explore the difficulties. For me, mistakes are always the best way to learn how to move forward.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: How would you describe your style? What influences you the most? 

My style is kind of weird. I like the business look, rock style, but The style I adore is androgynous. A white shirt is my favorite thing. What influences me the most I can say it’s my dad. Every time I wear his clothes or men’s clothes, I feel my best in them.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: How are you hoping your work will evolve in the future?

First of all, I love to have my space of working and creating. Launching my brand in Cyprus is the next step. Then, Greece will be my next destination.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Where do you hope to be in five years?

Five years from now, I see myself next to a designer for an internship. I would love to learn even more things in fashion design.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: If you could give one piece of advice to yourself in the first year at university, what would it be?

Listen and remember every advice you get.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What top five tips would you give to final year students?

Work hard, have patience, have time management, try your best on everything you do, and the most important tip is to have fun with what you do.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: When and why did you decide to become a Fashion Designer?

I decided to become a Fashion Designer at the age of fifteen. I love fashion and the freedom of thinking I get.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does fashion creativity mean to you?

Fashion is creativity, and without creativity, there is no fashion.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is your motto in life?

Smile to life, so it smiles to you back.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What type of woman do you see wearing your pieces?

Businesswoman with a fashionable style. The same goes for men because I’m working on both.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: If you could describe your aesthetic in 5 words, what would be they?

Classic, strict, dynamic, minimal, and comfortable.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What do you expect the most for your life?

To be a successful fashion designer, and also make my parents proud of me.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does it mean for you to participate in street style photography during the Fashion Awards 2019 in London? 

It means a lot to me as an upcoming designer. I’m excited and honored to see my clothes in the Best London Street Style during Fashion Awards 2019 by Think-Feel-Discover.com.
