♦Think-Feel-Discover: Where do you get your inspiration as a designer?
I’m interested in science, technology, history, culture, film, arts to be inspired. Certainly, I love Japanese minimalism.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does it mean for you as a designer to design clothes in Greece today?
Designing, producing fashion currently in Greece is a demanding process. The fashion designer is to imagine future potentials that don’t exist and then make them relevant to your present.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does style mean to you? Do you believe in trends?
I don’t believe in trends in terms of following what is popularly trendy. In my opinion, the importance of trends lies in the fact that it reflects attitudes of the current popular culture. As a result, I aspire more to personal style that satisfies a real need and create a calm mood that says: I want to live in my way.

Firstly, Fashion and Art by Dimosthenis Davetas. Secondly, Charles James: The Couture Secrets of Shape, by Valerie Steele.
Finally, Against Fashion: Clothing as Art, by Radu Stern.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is your favorite color, and why?
I love the black. Black is where there is little or no light. So it speaks of something mysterious, unfamiliar, hopeless, dreamy. It is synonymous with something, timeless, elegant, and long-lasting. It complements every other color.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What advice would you give to new designers?
Be creative, try to focus, and develop each time one of them. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas with others. Above all, don’t hesitate to try new things and make mistakes. Likewise, be a team player and respect your relationships within your workplace. In sort, Travel a lot to break the limitations of your culture. Look into and investigate things that matter and drive innovation like technology and crafts.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
Having a well-recognized brand locally and internationally, but also be surrounded by people to share common aspirations.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What’s your favorite moment of the day?
The twilight, either it dawn or dusk. Colors are pale and reveal calmness and beauty.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is the key detail in a woman’s outfit?
I love the color and design details of a woman’s look.

I am optimistic and have faith in change.

A great fashion designer is the one that can inspire people’s way to dress.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is your motto in life?
Be always in pursuit of a better version of myself by defying norms and having faith in unrushed change.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What was a defining moment in your career so far?
There is a significant experience in my personal life that also became a defining moment in my career. I became a mom. Although it intersected the continuity and focus I had in my creative explorations, I took the time to re-think many aspects of the way I work and how I practice things. Certainly, it re-allocated my values and gave me an immense encouragement to revisit and follow things that I was postponing and made me more vigilant about them.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy being creative within my time management. I also enjoy sharing my creations with contemporary women and realize that they enjoy to wear them.
♦Think-Feel-Discover: What three words would you use to describe the ELISAVET KAPOGIANNI brand today?
Optimistic, artful, unrushed.

Remain imaginative and optimistic.
