♦Think-Feel-Discover: What do you think about fashion design and material creativity in Greece today?

While there are many talented people in the fashion industry, only a few brands have succeeded. Due to the economic crises which started in 2010, a lot of fashion designers closed their brands and creativity was poor. But a couple of years later a lot of young people with fresh and new ideas started an uprising. Fashion started flourishing again. God bless the internet.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does it mean for you as a designer to design clothes in Greece today? What does it make unique the made in Greece clothing collections?

There are high-quality materials in Greece. Being Greek, and creating as a designer in my country, it is the best part for me. Of course, there are difficulties. Natural materials such as cotton, linen, and others make the difference. Clothes have a quality and a natural feel. And then there is the know-how. Because creating clothes in Greece has been a form of art that everybody knew since ancient times.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does style mean to you?

Style is a way of life. It is an attitude. However, It’s the best way to be you.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What was a defining moment in your career so far?

The idea to present me and my work through the comic. I believed so much in that idea. The combination of so many talents was an exciting idea. It was indeed an unmissable challenge for my creative imagination.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Who is your favorite designer today?

Alexander McQueen is my inspiration in fashion. Because of him, I do what I do today.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which three books would you recommend to a fashion lover?

To all fashion lovers, I would recommend reading the Secret, History of Fashion books, and all the Harry Potter ones.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is the style of your daily wardrobe?

It has always been casual, and both modern but mostly retro.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is your favorite color, and why?

It has always been blue and red. Because I grew up by the sea, blue always intrigued me and red because it symbolizes passion and love, both virtues I have close to my heart.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Do you believe in trends?

I find trendsetters very important in the fashion industry. Trends are always influenced by what happens to the world and society. Imagine them like a guide for a successful collection.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What advice would you give to new designers?

I would tell them to follow their dreams. Always study, work hard, and believe in themselves.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Where do you see yourself in ten years from now?

I see myself in the hall of fame. I’m just kidding!

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What’s your favorite moment of the day?

For me, the night is the best part of the day. I relax from the day and organize my next one.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What is your vision in life?

I always like taking new degrees, knowledge, and diplomas. My next one will be in archaeology. Become a better person, a better artist, a better fashion designer.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is the key detail in a woman’s outfit?

I always believed in her shoes. They can elevate every style.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: What does define your personality?

Above all, my unstoppable positive mood and energy define my personality.

Be yourself is the most important. That makes a fashion designer great.

♦Think-Feel-Discover: Which is your motto in life?

Love and kindness don’t cost anything, and they buy everything.
