London Fashion Week currently ranks alongside New York, Paris, and Milan as one of the ‘Big Four’ fashion weeks. Attracting buyers, the media, celebrities, and top models proudly present designers’ latest collections. However, the British Fashion Council (BFC) for the London Development Agency, with help from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, organised the first London Fashion Week in October 1983. In conclusion, it is an incredible journey of innovation, creativity, and forward-looking culture.

In addition, London Fashion Week drives forward the industry’s most promising young talent. Graduate Fashion Shows give a professional, unique opportunity to showcase their talented design. Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, and, more recently, Simone Rocha, Christopher Kane and Jonathan Anderson made the first of their professional career on the London catwalk. In 2015, I began attending the London Fashion Week schedule. What a journey! In my eyes, the originality of London Fashion Week designers is a pioneering alteration to my way of discovering fashion.
