1. Discover craftsmanship, the intelligence of the hand.

Positive Fashion is always a reason for me to explore not only the maker but above all the process. In my eyes, Craftsmanship is the quality that comes from creating with passion, care, and attention to detail. Sitting on my sofa, I was looking at some silk scarves I have received lately from Ath. Mouhtaridis SA, a Greek Silk fabric manufacturer. I was excited when a new idea appeared in my mind. Why not create clothing from these silk scarves. So I enjoyed the idea to experiment with shape. Surprisingly, silk fabric is a super soft fabric which reflects femininity and good taste. I followed the moulage technique, and I let my imagination free to imagine new shapes.

2. Creative explosion.

Fashion is a new art. Prints are one of the purest expression. I quietly dared to explore it. This printed silk dress is my creative explosion. Dare to experiment and try things out. Dress to express, not to impress!

3. Hidden treasures.

Go to the roots of good design and explore the sustaining value of quality. Amplify your instinct and discover the unique. Mix new ideas with already created forms. Create your style, ignoring trends. I imagined myself being free and looking at the sun. In my eyes, the silk fabric symbolizes the freedom of movement. That is the reason I gave the sleeveless form. Likewise, I paid more attention to the waist. In the same vein, it’s a flirty shape for a fresh look.

4. Become a critical consumer. Ask your self: Why is produced?

Be honest and fair to every step. Don’t pay too much or too little. Do your recherche, and bring the story of brands to life. Wher do they produce their products? Under which conditions do they create what we finally choose to wear? Today this is the new way of thinking in our creative industry. Learn to think about it and educate yourself. That is the future.

5. Understand that markets welcome new ways of selling.

Reduce, reuse, recycle, repair. Use what is there and share new ideas. Become an openminded consumer. So I asked the question: What can I do If I want #PositiveFashion will always make me look and do good during London Fashion Week? In September 2019, I decided to explore how the silk scarf shapes our body. Today, this printed dress prooves that brands need to appreciate what they produce. Go to the origins of the raw material and make the change from the roots. Enjoy the new. Don’t be afraid to collaborate. I welcome Positive Fashion in September 2019, and I hope to enjoy.
